Lake Rim Park, NC
This past Sunday we finally made it to the Lake Rim Park, which is only 10 minutes away from our house. The park has really nice walking trail, soccer/football field, couple playgrounds... I think we are going to try to get there more often, the kids had lots of fun.

I guess the temperature can get a little high at Scott's new home, not even a thermometer
can keep up with it. I think they should make one that goes a little higher than that.

And we thought North Carolina had hot summers !!!

Beautiful sunset in Iraq...
After long and hot days in Iraq, it's nice to see this beautiful view out of your window. Scott is doing great so far and we've made it through our first month, YEAH !!! Hey, ONLY 11 more to go :-(

Playing in the rain...

We finally got our so much needed rain, at least a little bit of it. Zak and Maya had a blast running and getting wet in the rain and I loved watching them doing it. It's great to be a kid...
