I was dropping off Maya at her Preschool this morning. She saw the sign on the building, which I'm pretty sure she has seen before, and asked me:
" What is the name of my school?" I replied "FOREVER KIDS" She looked at me with big eyes and open mouth and asked " Do I have to come here FOREVER ???"

How many Wizards can you fit in a van???
Yes, all 15 of them + 1 Grandma. It was a very cold morning and they were all keeping warm before the game.

Room makeover

We decided to change Maya's room. It got fresh color, new IKEA furniture and reduction of toys (much easier clean up). She loves her new BIG bed and she even took Daddy's pillow for more comfort - I don't think he is getting it back when he comes home. We still need to look for nice curtains and rods to go with it.
My little girl is growing up !!!

Wizards...
Another game, another win. The Wizards did it again. We also had the "End of the soccer season" party at CiCi's. The kids enjoyed the food and soccer decorated cake. All the players received a trophy and certificate for doing a great job. We can't wait untill the next year.

Great news !!!

We got some great news. Our cousin Patrick and his girlfriend Katy got engaged this past week. They are the sweetest couple and we are very happy for them. The wedding date is set for October 11th, 2008. We can't wait to congratulate them in person.

Visit from Uncle Pat

Couple days ago, Patrick-Maya's Godfather-stopped by to visit us for few hours. He lives in NY but came to NC on a business trip. We only get to see him once or twice a year, but every time we do it's lots of fun. He is such a good guy. The kids had a blast and we were sad to see him go.

Questions, questions, questions...

Some of the questions Maya asks me:

" Can your heart really break?" - she heard it in a song ... you broke my heart.
" Can relationships really kill you?" - another song...
" When I am old what are you going to be?"

Katie is turning 1 !!!

On Sunday our little Katie turned 1 years old, which I still can't believe. She is my little photo model and she reminds me so much of Maya when she was a baby. They grow up so fast.
Happy Birthday Katie...

Halloween party at Pre-school

Back in September Maya started attending pre-school 3 times a week/3 hr a day. She fell in love with her teacher Mrs. Karen and shortly after she started 3 of her best friends joined her. Couple weeks ago we recieved a phone call from the public pre-school (5 times a week/6 hr a day, free of charge) asking if we are still interested. I was going back and forth about my desition, but at the end we decided to try it and if it doesn't work out, Maya will go back to her old school. She started last week and so far she likes it. She misses her friends and Mrs. Karen but hopefully she will make some new good friends.

We got to stretch the Halloween thing a little bit more this year. The weekend before the acual holiday we got to visit the Hauted Airplain, which was set up by the soldiers on Ft. Bragg. The line was looooong, the weather was cold and going through the airplain took about 2 minutes. I think we had more fun jst waiting in the line and eating hot chilli.

It was time to visit Josh and Tasha again. I wish they would live closer to us (45 min drive) so we could get enough of Nikki. She is so much like her daddy...

Wizards update !!!

The soccer season is going really good. So far the Wizards won all the games (exept of 1 tie). They are in the first place and Zak is loving it. He scored 4 goals for his team.

The NC October this year has been extremely hot, we've even seen some 100's. It didn't feel right to let the kids play in the water, it is October and the weather should be much cooler. I know I'm use to wear warm jackets and hats around this time of the year.
